Wisconsin Morels by the truck load

On a quick check after a night and early morning rain and 60-65 degree afternoon temps we found 25-30 fat palm sized morels in a place that was checked the day before and nothing.

Half-free morels on dry wooded slope - Warm and sunny day after a couple days of rainfall. Well drained top of a ridge that leads to a creek.

Oakville, Ontario Canada - After 3 days of rain, on a lawn near older tree.

Tustin Michigan. - Thunderstorm last night… am letting probably 100… 150 go over night…. maybe more will jump tonight!!!!

Lake McConaughy - Raining for 2 days. 4/24-4/27. No specific conditions. Open forest to willows patches

Amazing BLACK MORELS found. - All 3 were discovered next to a dead Elm tree on April 20th of 2024

First of the season for us in Orange County today. - After overnight 60° with light rain off a familiar trail. 77° and mostly sunny afternoon. Husband spotted the cluster near some bushes.

All morels were found Monday, April 29th after significant rains on Saturday and Sunday.
The morels in the first picture were found on a south facing slope near dead elm or ash trees.
The morels in the second picture were found on a north facing slope near living common spruce trees and dead hardwoods, possibly elm or ash.

Near Heidelberg, Kitchener, Ontario Canada  - Found in a grassy backyard near the garden and new woodchips. The last few days have been warm and rainy.

Lowell ma in my backyard.  Found 3 yesterday. 

Grafton, Ontario, K0K 2G0 - Morel sighting - Black morel, mossy area, near predominant cedar 30 metres west of Shelter Valley creek. Raining for the past 2-3 days.

Found 7 total, 5 grays and 2 yellows. Most are too small to pick yet

morels in Minneapolis! - 4 28 24. it's very soggy out due to consistent rain. there were many more coming up, only as big as my pinky nail.

Big Yellows

 Two morels sighted growing in a mix of garden mulch and woodchips. 70 degrees, sunny.

Morel Sighting 4/28/2024 - Rainy, 60 degrees.

 Found some early thumb nail size ones today.

Eckville northern Berks county PA poplar and some witch hazel. 168 in three hours with 2 of us hunting. ramps are prime also!! ticks suck!!! and are ramped

Found two small white ones and left two tiny ones behind for a gauge. Good luck foraging!
 43 and raining so I was surprised.

Six dozen yellows - Found close to 70 on one hillside after about an hour or so of searching. Nearly all were yellows by tulip poplar and black cherry trees.

Summit, WI Morels - Found these small 6 greys in our usual hunting places. I think we might be a bit too early, hoping next weekend is a bigger haul.

Greys in Cadillac in Mesick! - Grass pine trees been low of 40s for awhile and huge jump in temperature yesterday (4/27) and blondes are popping! Little babies but they're there

Fort Snelling Morels - Heavy rain a week ago, 2 days of sunshine, and today overcast, but overall days have consistently been in the 60s for the past few weeks. Found 7 morels, only 1 big one though. Found by river by dead cottonwood tree.

First morel! - South facing hill – 77 degree day.

Day after rain; near river; temp in 50s. Found 3 little ones. Hoping it is a sign more will be popping up soon!

Morels Shawano county

Miami County, Ohio - Ohio Morels April 27, 2024 - West facing hillside at low lying land with creek nearby. Surrounded by may apples. Found a honey hole of over 20 yellows in one spot.
